Sorry we missed you...and we're going to have to get you to be a Panthers fan now that you are living in NC. Hey, if your Uncle Tom can do it...you can too! Charlotte is neat...where did you go that everything was closed. Next time you come down I'll take you around and show you the hot spots.
Boston was great. I love cities by the water. San Francisco, Chicago, Boston...we did a lot of touristy things, walked some of the Freedom Trail, took a boat ride around the Boston Harbor and saw neat lighthouses, got Drew early enrollment into MIT - John's alma mater! Then we went out to Cape Cod for the weekend. It was really nice. Our trip home was rough, there were storms all along the east coast and it took us so much longer that we had to stop in Raleigh to fuel-up so we could make it into Charlotte. We were supposed to be home at 7pm and ended up getting in at midnight.
Hope you had a happy birthday and a good time at the beach. Let us know when you can come down...you are welcome to stay as many days as you'd like.
